You can make these cookies for guests and for parties and anytime I am craving a sweet treat.

Carob Chip Cookies:

  • 1/3 cup of walnut oil
  • 1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 organic egg
  • ¾ cup of brown rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of carob chips unsweetened
  • Dash of all-spice optional

Procedure

Grease two baking sheets and preheat oven to 375° F.

In a medium size bowl, combine the oil, maple syrup, and vanilla.

Beat the egg and stir into the oil mixture.

Gradually stir in flour and baking soda to form a stiff batter.

Fold in carob chips and drop the batter into the baking sheets by teaspoons.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until cookies are lightly brown.

Remove from the oven and cool. Then serve with almond or rice milk.

Overweight and obesity are diagnosed using the Body Mass Index (BMI) which is calculated by dividing weight in kilos by height in meters squared:

BMI = weight (kg) / height (meters ²)

There is some confusion as to the numbers of BMI and classification of the degree of overweight and obesity. For example, a muscular person may have a high BMI without necessarily being obese. Low-Fat Brownies – Very Easy

Today I want to show you a very cool and tasty recipe video I found about how to make Low fat Brownies. Pretty easy recipe, with the most common ingredients you can get a very low fat and healthy brownies.

So these are the ingredients:

First Bowl:

  • Flour.
  • Coco powder.
  • Baking powder.
  • Salt.

Second Bowl:

  • Unsweet applesauce.
  • Low Calorie Sugar.
  • Brown Sugar.
  • Low Fat milk.
  • Vanilla Extract.
  • Small amount of grated chocolate.
  • Egg white.

Procedure:

Mix up everything in the second bowl and then aggregate it on the First one. After everything is well mixed put it into a recipient to cook it in the oven at 170 C degress for 20 to 25 minutes more or less.

Cut in slices and wait to they get a normal temperature to eat it.

New researchs suggests that, after a stroke, adoption of a low-fat diet is so beneficial for cardiovascular health as a Mediterranean diet.

Both diets provided similar amounts of protein, carbohydrates, cholesterol and unhealthy saturated fats, but the Mediterranean diet offers higher amounts of monounsaturated “healthy”, specifically the omega-3 fatty acids found in fish.

According to the researchers, applied with equal intensity, both diets can be an effective component in the lifestyle changes after a heart attack. Patients following a heart attack followed these diets for 4 years significantly reduced their risk of subsequent cardiovascular events, as observed by Dr. Katherine R. Tuttle and his colleagues.

Moreover, compared with patients receiving usual care after suffering his first heart attack, the risk of subsequent death or cardiovascular events “was about 70% lower in participants with dietary intervention” Tuttle said to Reuters Health .
